Architectural Oak Ltd is a family run business with experience with all manner of timber related work. Founded in the 1920's, we are proud to have operated out of Wiltshire and provided quality work throughout the UK since then.

At Architectural Oak we create anything from timber frames to furniture to temples and ornamental structures. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer a complete package including design and ground works.

Not only do we make contemporary wooden structures, but we also have experience with traditional use of timber and restoration work.

We have the capability to provide designs for your projects, however we are also more than happy to work with landscape gardeners, architects and project managers of your choice to provide unique and distinctive works. For complex projects that require structural engineering, again we are happy to work with an engineer of your choice or to recommend one that we have previously worked with.

Thorughout our long history as a company, we have gained a lot of experience in traditional woodwork, but at architectural oak we have, and will continue to innovate. We compliment our traditional methods with computer aided design and even CNC machinery where appropriate.

It is not only in our methods that we innovate, we are also enthusiastic to take on unorthodox work such as moveable structures and buildings.

Architectural Oak has been supplying contemporary pieces to stately homes, castles, hotels, temples and individuals for many years. We have provided buildings and structures for some of the most prestigious locations and clients across the UK, including Dumfries house and Arundel Castle. The majority our work is for private clients, and to respect their privacy we have chosen not to display images of that work here, however both Dumfries house and Arundel castle are open to the public so if you ever happen to find yourself at one of the aforementioned locations, you can experience first-hand these structures that were designed by I&J Bannerman Ltd.
